TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CROC AND SLIDES (SENSIBLE COLLECTIBLES)
Croc and Slides is an online arm of the registered Company Known as Sensible Collectibles in Nigeria.
When you shop with us (on ANY of our Social Media platforms), these terms and conditions apply as they would give you helpful information. You can also send an email to our Customer Care Team – we are customer-centric and would love to give you the best experience.
These terms and conditions are updated/ amended often from time to time. The latest versions apply when shopping.
By shopping with us, you confirm that you have agreed to the below terms and conditions.
1) You must be over 18 years old.
2) Must have a credit/prepaid/ debit card that is accepted by our payment platforms.
3) You must be an authorized user of the credit/prepaid/debit card or any payment option chosen (payment via phone transfer) (e.g. it is either in your name or you have legal permission/authority to use the card.)
4) You are responsible for the use of the payment card or USSD (payment via phone transfer)
Placing an Order:
1) You may shop from any of our major categories which are clearly stated as either *Brand NEW* and/or Pre-Owned*
–Brand New signifies items that have NOT been worn/used before by anyone to the best of our knowledge at time of sale BUT MAY NOT come in a carton or original packaging!
–Pre-Owned signifies items have been previously worn by another human but in reusable condition. Hence, may have some evidence of use.
2) When an order is placed successfully, an acknowledgement email showing the details of your purchase will be sent to the credentials provided by your good self. This is an auto generated message and is subject to system failure. If an acknowledgment message is yet to be received, please contact us via email or contact details
3) Payment confirmation will be done backend via our payment gateway. Upon payment approval, item(s) will be packaged and sent out for dispatch to the location provided by you. Please note that we use any reputable registered logistics company in Nigeria for our deliveries.
4) All orders are subject to product availability. If there’s a challenge with an order, we’ll get in touch with you. (Challenge may be unavailability (as may have sold in physical store) or a defect not initially observed)
5) Sometimes, we may need to cancel or exchange an order if any issue beyond us at the moment is observed. We will get in touch with you if this happens and we may offer a refund or give you store credit for future purchases or offer future discounts
6) If any challenge is observed in nos 4 and 5 above, or we’ve made a mistake, please do not take offence – kindly get in touch with us via email or phone number and we’ll be happy to speak to you about it.
7) Our Product description is very simplified. For example, irrespective of the unlimited shades of a color( e.g Blue) a product may be simply stated as *Blue* whether it looks like Cobalt blue/Royal Blue/Navy Blue/Biro Blue/Sky Blue/Vintage Blue/Petrol Blue or Turquoise etc It will likely be simply stated as * Blue*
8) For size related issues, we sell branded and unbranded Brand New and Pre-Owned items hence we use a seeming generic size chart for both. However if there is any Challenge arising from wrong sizing, the item is subject to an exchange if new requested size is available. However, erring party bears logistics fee or its split in agreed compensatory percentages.
Prices and Description of Items
We strive to make sure our items are described in a very simplified way, set our prices to be highly competitive and pocket friendly. However, due to manual inputs and computations, we may experience slight errors in computation. E.g. pricing error by transposition, product description, color specification, product name, etc, or product description. If we receive your order and we notice a challenge, we will notify you about it, and sort it out amicably. Some errors may be N8400 as against N4800 or generally stating Blue as against Cobalt Blue.
If there is any challenge with a transaction either parties may reach out to the other.
N: B: REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL NOT INCLUDE THE COMMISSION OF THE PAYMENT GATEWAY USED FOR THE TRANSACTION AND IT WILL BE NEGATED FROM ANY REFUND OR EXCHANGE.
An unpaid order in your cart may remain in there as long as it is unsold and no one has indicated interest.
PAYMENT:
We use the services /Payment gateway of Paystack and/or Flutterwave etc and also recommend Payment by Transfer or USSD to avoid inputting card details if you have any concerns around that.
STOCKPILING POLICY
Should you require stockpiling, kindly indicate after checking out by clicking the WhatsApp contact button to chat a support staff.
Please note that the maximum period allowed for stockpiling is one month from purchase date. Once an item has been paid for and noted for stockpile, exchanges or refunds cannot be made. After a month from maxiumum stockpile period, demurrage of N50 per day may apply or we are at liberty to dispatch purchased item to your location.
HOURS OF OPERATIONS
Shopping on the website is all round the clock. But on other social media platforms and in-store is Monday to Saturdays from 8:30am to 7:30pm and on Saturdays 10am to 6pm
DELIVERY/LOGISTICS/SHIPPING TERMS
Delivery within Lagos State is 1 to 3 business days, while out of Lagos is 2 to 5 business days. As regards delivery, you may choose to pick up from the shop address at House 34, 52 Road, Festac, Lagos (and any shipment fee paid from the website will be refunded) or a paid delivery to your specified location. All deliveries are to the address or location stated by Buyer. However, if the logistics company is unable to deliver to doorstep, buyer will be advised to pick up at closest logistics office
Buyer is also at liberty to want pickup as an option as against doorstep delivery.
The delivery charge is calculated based on the address you input and it varies from location to location. It will sum up as an additional charge to the cost of the product and will be clearly shown during the checkout process.
There are also charges for transactions done via the payment gateway platforms we use. It is a minute percentage commission of your purchase. However, these May be borne by us.
All these, when added, will then become the ‘Total Cost’ debited to your account.
Please bear in mind that we use 3rd party logistics companies for all our deliveries. Although we try to meet all delivery timelines, sometimes there may be delays from their end without them reaching out to you. Delays may be due to faulty bikes, arrests by road agencies, accidents, flood, holidays, weekend structure or bad weather. We will keep you updated as much as we can.
If you’re experiencing any problems with your delivery, please let us know within 7 days of the date which your order should have been delivered and we’ll do our best to help you. You can email our logistics team with your order number to track delivery progress.
Refunds and Exchanges
Sizes and Generic colors are as seen or stated the information of each image.
However, should challenge arises from a transaction that requires an exchange, delivery fee will be borne fully by the erring party and complaint/exchange be done 24 hours from time of delivery.
When Making purchase for a growing child, we advice a size higher that current size if in doubt of the child size as he/she will eventually grow into it. When in doubt, it is better to be slightly bigger than smaller for shoes.
Warranty
60 days warranty on new products subject to evidence of verifiable error, challenges and fault.
We are also NOT affiliated to any brand as we sell any fashion or generic items used externally by humans. We do not sell any edible/consumable or insertable product. All our products are deemed as fashion items for use on external parts of the Body.
Returning an unwanted item?
Don’t worry; as long as an item is still in its original condition as it was delivered, we may accept exchanges, subject to our exchange policy. However, some items can’t be exchanged, like personal effects or where a hygiene strip or seal has been removed (e.g., accessories, scarf’s, swimwear, undergarments, underwear, makeup, beauty products). Please check major product category and item condition before you order.
If an item is returned to us damaged, worn, torn, stained or in an unsuitable condition, we will be unable to exchange, refund, or give you store credit or discount codes. This means we may have to keep it till you pick it up, or we send it back to you (delivery charge for exchange is on you). We can only keep the item for 5 working days. After that it will no longer be in our custody and we will not bear the cost of the item.
All returned items should be sent in their original condition and packaging where possible, including tags- for Brand New items (e.g., Brand New Items should be returned with the original packaging ) in order to get a store credit. However, if we ascertain a refund has to be done, we aim to refund you within 14 business days of receiving the returned item.
Use of Items Purchased
Items are sourced both locally and globally from various merchants at best prices and quality provided as we do not provide authentication codes and suchlike. We stock and sell any available branded or unbranded product and do not act as representatives or affiliates of any specific brand or business.
Promo/Discount Codes
We may occasionally give promo/discount codes, affiliate codes and gift cards so that you can get a discount on your purchase. But don’t forget, it is up to you to enter the code at checkout as an omission will not be honored manually or after checkout.
Each Promo Code has its terms and conditions. It will be made clear at the time it’s issued to you. They are usually limited to a timeline, date of purchase, product category, single/multiple use etc.
If you’re given a unique Promo Code that is meant just for you( Unless a General Promo Code) please keep it secret and don’t let anyone else use it or abuse it (e.g. don’t post it on social media). Once we notice there has been a misuse of a Promo Code in any way (e.g. selling it or sharing it with others), we will cancel, modify or suspend the Promo Code and possibly close your shopping account and notify you of our action.
Shopping Ethics
Please do not misuse or tamper with our websites, apps or other services (“Websites”) (e.g. hack, introduce viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other technologically harmful material or carry out denial of service attacks etc) or otherwise. Neither should you tamper with our technology platforms or functionality or steal ours or our customers’ data. Doing any of these things is a criminal offence, and as well also gets in the way of us giving our customers the best service. We will report any such breach or activity (and all information about the people carrying it out) to the relevant regulatory authorities.
We recommend you use virus protection software when using any website, including ours. Although we have a dedicated team who work hard to stop people from causing chaos with our Website, we can’t guarantee that it will always be secure from bugs, viruses or trouble-makers. You are also not allowed to use automated systems or software to extract data from our Website (AKA ‘screen scraping’).
Please take note: you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless, Sensible Collectibles, Croc & Slides, its directors, officers, employees, consultants, agents, and affiliates, from any and all third-party claims, liability, damages and/or costs (including, but not limited to, legal fees) arising from your use (or misuse) of this Website or your breach of the Terms and Conditions.
Intellectual Property Rights
Sensible Collectibles/Croc and Slides own or have permission to use the intellectual property rights in its Website and its content. These rights are protected around the world. All such rights are reserved.
You’re allowed to store, print and display our Website content only for your own personal use. You are not allowed to use any part of the Website for commercial purposes unless you have our express permission.
You’re also not allowed to use the content of Sensible Collectibles and Croc and Slides trademark, contents and other intellectual property displayed on the website without our permission in writing.
Third-Party registered and unregistered trademarks or service marks on our website are the property of their respective owners and we do not endorse and are not affiliated with any of the holders of any such marks and as such we cannot grant any license to the use or otherwise of third-party intellectual property.
Legal
We have the right to amend, remove or vary our services and/or any part of the mini Website (including our Terms and Conditions) at any time, Privacy Policy, FAQ etc. These terms and our dealings with you are subject to the Nigerian law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.

You agree to process your personal data in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy. We shall process all personal data obtained through the website in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy
